Shabby Chic, - a card for Shimmerz and finally back

Hello all and lovely to have you drop in. I am back from Australia and soon more regular blog posts should appear here again. I apologize for it having been so quiet  and also for lack of comments on your blogs....
While I am super busy with piles of washing and unpacking after having let out our flat for two months, today I  just have a preview of my latest project for Shimmerz:
To see the rest and get a step by step, just head over to the Shimmerz Blog by clicking HERE.
Tomorrow normal blogging services will be resumed lol, hope to see you then....
Thanks for your visit today and happy crafting and creating!!

A beautiful shimmery card Astrid, I love the white flourish in the bottom corner and the teeny seed beads add some lovely texture. Nice to have you back with us too! Anne x

Welcome home Astrid, I hope you had a fabulous time with your family. Your art is gorgeous as always, love how you distress the embellishments. I see the classic HFC leaves that I also own and unused but after seeing how you've used them, I must get them out :) Enjoy getting settled in again, Shirleyxx

Welcome back and I hope you had fun. Your use of the sprays colors you chose with the papers is stunning and so fun. I like this version of autumnal colors. Brilliant use of the chippies and flowers and the sprays helped bring everything together smashingly well. Fantabulous! Hugz ~Niki

Too late to say "welcome back" really, having arrived here backwards through some long overdue catching up. I'm definitely off to Shimmerz to take a look at your project, but also to fulfil a long-planned shopping list of Aqua Huez while I only have to pay US shipping! I'll make sure to mention your name for the discount too if that's still how they work.

Welcome back! So good to see your wonderful work again, and I've already been to Shimmerz to see all the gorgeous details! Love that bookplate; crackle perfection! As always, I left the "meat and potatoes" comment on the wrong blog- - at Shimmerz! But wanted to thank you for your visits to my blog recently; I've got plenty of catching up to do myself after taking most of the summer off to be with my family. Big hugs to you!

Just got a whole lot of new stamps from a brilliant place called the Stamp Smith. This is the image that I first saw on Docraft and really liked. I asked the friend who has used it in an ATC, where she got it. Well she borrowed it from a friend who got it from ebay as a one off. But.... it had a title. I googled the title, and hey presto found the site. They have great stamps and offer a really friendly fast service. I highly recommend them!
